Favorite celebration of Kanchi Maha Periyavaa

There are many festivals in the Hindu Sanatana Dharma. Every festival has its significance.
There is much to be said about the field behind the philosophy of these festivals. Most of the festivals are observed in the Kanchi mutt. Kanchi Maha periyavaa has elaborately said in deivathin kural every aspect behind the philosophy of these festivals.
Once the Kanchi Mahaperiyava finished all the poojas, he gave the darshan to the devotees. Time to relax. There were only a few people close to him in the monastery. One person asked sage Kanchi periyavaa …
“What is the favorite festival of this mutt? Diwali, Tai pongal Vinayaga chathurthi, Karthika Deepa, Gokulashtami, Arudra darshan. ”
Periyavaa looked at the questioner with a resolve. Then he said with a smile adorned.
“Not Diwali, Pongal or Ganesh Chaturthi.”
“Then? ”
“My favorite is ‘Sankara Jayanthi’.
Sankara Jayanthi will be celebrated nicely in the mutt. ok… But then it will be events like vidhvat satas, discussion discourses..music…manthiram vedha chanting….. but not festivals. How then does the Swami say it is his favorite… Oh, their Adi Guru … “What a special at Sankara Jayanti!”
Only maha periyavaa can understand the puzzle. Always, Adi Shankara’s name is thrilled to Kanchi Maha Swamis. Acharya will melt in devotion with the name Sankara. He said in his melting voice,
What are the Hindu festivals we celebrate if only Adi Shankara is not incarnated? Therefore, Sankara Jayanthi is my favorite festival, which has revitalized our charity.
You know, our Acharya,Adi Shankara Bhagat bathar, was not only a Vedanti. He is a philosopher.Guide.Guru who drove out the darkness, …sin….from every heart of mankind.
He loved the simplicity.He loved every being of the world.He strongly condemned the killings of animals and other living beings.you must know,The term ‘Sankara’ means…. one who bestows prosperity and auspiciousness on all people and all beings. We are duty-bound to celebrate the Jayanthi of and contemplate on Srimad Bhagavatpada, who has done a great help to all beings, true to his name ‘Sankara’.
Adi Shankara Bhagatbathar said many things to the common man. He said everybody, Read Bhagavad Gita,
Think of Bhagavan’s mind, not think of anything else.
